Premier League Fantasy Football Gameweek 32 top picks

Updated On Mar 29, 2018 by David Nugent

After what seems to have been an age of international football, the Premier League returns this weekend, which means a return for FPL too. Gameweek 31 was one to forget for us. However, at least Bournemouth winger Junior Stanislas delivered a decent point’s haul for us. Here are your FPL picks of the week for Gameweek 32:

Kenedy (Newcastle)

The Chelsea loanee scored twice in the Magpies recent 3-0 win over Southampton and is now looking like a real potential bargain for our FPL teams. The Brazilian also picked up an assist on his debut against Burnley in Gameweek 25.

One assist and two goals in his Newcastle career are not great stats. However, the youngster is now playing more of an attacking role, occupying a left-wing position, which means he is far more likely to produce attacking points.

Kenedy faces a home game with Huddersfield this weekend, a team that have conceded 30 goals on their travels in the league this season. At £4.7million, the winger is a player who can deliver points and also facilitate the signing of bigger priced players, especially with a double gameweek coming up in 34.

Jesse Lingard (Manchester United)

The England international is enjoying the best season of his football career, having scored eight times and produced four assists. His club form has gone off the boil of late, but he was in fine form for England, scoring and creating goals against the Netherlands and Italy.

The winger was only used as a substitute against Liverpool in United’s last Premier League outing. However, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho may have seen enough in the international break to restore the 25-year-old to his starting line-up for Saturday’s home game against travel-sick Swansea, a game United are red-hot favourites to win.

The fact that Lingard is just £6million and the Red Devils have two games in Gameweek 34 does make Lingard look like a very viable FPL option.

Glenn Murray (Brighton)

The veteran striker is enjoying something a career revival at 34. The former Crystal Palace star has scored 11 Premier League goals this season, which is a decent tally for a player from a newly promoted team.

However, it is the striker’s performance in the last few months has people talking about a potential England call-up. Murray has scored five goals in his last six top-flight appearances for the Seagulls.

The striker looks like an attractive option with a home game against Leicester and a price tag of just £6million looks a shrewd signing. Murray also has the added bonus of featuring in a double gameweek in 34.

Ashley Barnes (Burnley)

The Burnley striker is another player with a double gameweek in 34. The striker looks like a superb cut-price option for the next few games at a price of just £5.3million.

At the start of the season, Barnes was in and out of the Clarets line-up. However, the 28-year-old has now started the last 12 league games, while scoring in his last three appearances in the English top-flight.

The striker has picked up bonus points in each of those last three games. With a visit to rock-bottom West Brom this weekend, Barnes is impossible to ignore as an FPL option.
