The last fixtures of the Premier League’s gameweek 29 take place on Sunday and Monday. Here are the fixtures taking place on Sunday and Monday:

Sunday

Brighton v Arsenal (1:30 PM)

This clash could be vital at both ends of the Premier League, with Arsenal struggling to mount a top-four challenge and Brighton looking to escape the relegation battle.

Chris Hughton’s side heads into this game in good spirits, unbeaten in their last four games in the top-flight. In their last top-flight game, the Seagulls secured a vital 4-1 win over fellow strugglers Swansea at the Amex Stadium.

The victory means that Chris Hughton’s side are now four points clear of the 18th-place Swansea and the relegation zone.

Arsenal heads into this clash sixth-place in the Premier League table, ten points behind the Champions League spots. A 3-0 defeat against Manchester City on Thursday night was their third league loss in their last four top-flight outings. The Gunners have won just two of their last eight games in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger’s team have struggled for wins in the top-flight of late, winning just once in their last seven games on their travels in the Premier League. The side from north London have not won in their last four away games in the league while losing their last three games. The Gunners need a victory to have any chance of landing a top-four finish this season. The visitors are favourites to win this clash, despite their recent poor run of form.

Manchester City v Chelsea (4 PM)

This clash is between this season’s champions-elect and last season’s champions. The home side are big favourites to win this clash.

A victory could see Manchester City move 19 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, temporarily at least with second place Manchester United playing against Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Citizens have won 12 of their last 15 Premier League games. Pep Guardiola’s side have been prolific in recent top-flight games, scoring at least twice in six of their last seven games. The leaders have also been strong at home in the top-flight, winning 13 consecutive league games.

Chelsea are enduring a difficult time having slipped into fifth-place in the Premier League table after a run of three defeats in their last four games, while also conceding at least two goals in all three defeats. Antonio Conte’s side are now two points behind fourth-place Tottenham in the race for the Champions League spots.

The Blues have won just once in their last five games on the road in the top-flight. The visitors have also suffered successive away defeats in the Premier League against Watford and Manchester United. However, the visitors have won two of the last three meetings with the Citizens.

Monday

Crystal Palace v Manchester United (8 PM)

Both teams are in need of Premier League points, with relegation-threatened Palace needing points avoid the drop the drop and United hoping to consolidate their top-four spot in the top-flight.

Palace’s failure to win in their last five league games has left the Eagles in the thick of the relegation battle. Roy Hodgson’s team are only above the drop zone on goal difference. The home side have also won just one of their last five league games at Selhurst Park.

Manchester United are currently 16 points behind leaders and arch-rivals Manchester City. The Red Devils could find themselves in third-place by the time this game kicks off, as they are just two points clear of third-place Liverpool.

Jose Mourinho’s team have struggled for consistency of late in the top-flight, winning two and losing two of their last four league games. United have lost their last two league games at Tottenham and Newcastle.

Who will record the big results in the final weekend fixtures in the Premier League?
