Vegas Golden KnightsLas Vegas is always happening and has something special on offer at its world famous casinos.

December is going to be special for the city of Las Vegas as the Vegas Golden Knights are going to be involved with a poker event that looks to raise funds for a good cause.

The Vegas Golden Knights became the latest team to join the NHL during the 2017-2018 season and they quickly found a strong fan base in their home city.

The Knights had a phenomenal run in their very first season and made it to the Stanley Cup finals before going down to the Washington Capitals.

Knights of the Poker Table

The Golden Knights Foundation is looking to give back to Las Vegas by partnering with the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP). The CSOP will launch its eighteen charity event in December under the banner of ‘Knights of the Poker Table’.

This special charity event will take place at Mezzanine, Planet Hollywood on December 8. The timing of this event is great as just a couple of days later the World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic which has a $10,000 buy-in will take place and see top poker pros from all over the country in attendance.

The charity poker tournament will be hosted by Poker Hall of Famer (PHoF) Daniel Negreanu who is a massive Golden Knights fan. There are a number of exciting prizes to be won at the charity poker event including a seat to the $10,000 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.

The charity event will be attended by some of the most well-known poker pros in game including 2018 WSOP Main Event champ John Cynn, Matt Savage and Randall Emmett. There will be cool bounty prizes on 10 special guests in attendance along with a silent auction.

Prior to the charity event, there will be a special Vegas Golden Knights Official Watch Party that will allow those in attendance to win Golden Knight prizes.

Charity For A Good Cause

The funds raised via this charity event will be used to assist a number of local charities including The Conine Clubhouse and the Three Square Food Bank. The CSOP has been doing this since 2014 and by partnering with the Vegas Golden Knights their impact is expected to be a lot bigger this time around.

The Golden Knights Foundation focuses on helping the homeless and feeding the hungry in Vegas as well as working with the youth in Las Vegas to get them involved with sports.
