Wynn Resorts is reported to have allotted over $100 million for its marketing budget ahead of the NFL season which shows just how serious betting operators over the potential of the sports betting market in the US.

All of the top betting operators are going to be advertising heavily during the NFL season. Wynn Resorts is looking to stand out from the competition by engaging some big name celebrities and sportstars in its advertising campaign. Wynn is reported to have engaged its WynnBet brand ambassador Shaquille O’Neal who is an NBA Hall of Famer.

Wynn Resorts also hired Hollywood star Ben Affleck to film their sports betting commercial.

The commercial also features Jennifer Lopez’s mother Guadalupe “Lupe” Rodríguez who is reported to have won $2.4 million in real life at a casino in Atlantic City. Ben Affleck is once again back to dating Jennifer Lopez and looks like her mother benefitted by getting a role in the ad.

NFL Confirms Wynn As Official Partner

The NFL had initially confirmed Caesars Entertainment, Fan Duel and DraftKings Inc. as its three official sports betting partners. The deal with these three operators is valid for a 5 year period and is reportedly fetching the NFL a combined amount of over $1 billion. These three operators get exclusive privileges such as using the NFL logo on their advertising material and media rights to broadcast NFL game highlights.

The NFL announced this week that it has expanded its partner list by creating a new group of approved sportsbook operators. The NFL has officially confirmed the addition of WynnBet which is the sports betting arm of Wynn Resorts, Australian operator PointsBet, BetMGM and Fox Bet.

These four sportsbooks have signed an agreement to license Official League Data from Genius Sports – official data provider for the NFL. These four operators have also agreement to fully comply with the NFL’s stringent partner policies that call for compliance to integrity and responsible gambling efforts.

Wynn Resorts and its sports betting arm WynnBet will have their work cut out as they look to compete for market share and compete against the likes of DraftKings and Fan Duel in the coming months!
